What you’ll do
ControlHub is automated procurement software for mid-size companies. Employees use ControlHub to place purchase orders on Slack, automate purchasing tasks, and sync everything with their ERP.
Another way to think about us, is that we're building "Coupa for the mid-market".
ControlHub's first product was launched recently as a Slack app. We're getting great traction and success with it.
To expand our market, we want to launch a similar product on the web. The challenge here is, how to design a web product that is still collaborative, easy to use, and gets fast user adoption.
To execute this project well, you will need to:
- Benchmark competitive products to find best practices, ideas and features that we should incorporate
- Design product mockups
- Test mockups with sample users and collect feedback
- Work with our Engineering team to assess technical feasibility and complexity
- Collect feedback from our investors and advisors
What we seek
- We are seeking for someone who can hit the ground running and is a fast learner.
- Execution of the strategy is what delivers results in startups. You need to be very self-driven and hungry to be very hands-on and accomplish a lot in a short time period.
- Previous experience in Product Management is strongly preferred
Intern will work side by side with our Founder (who is an experienced awesome entrepreneur) + some of our investors who have executive or senior roles at Product roles in other startups/companies.
This is a great opportunity to experience what a small startup is really about, roll-up your sleeves to create products that will impact our users directly, and have a ton of impact in our company and our users.
