Requesters & Approvers

Find the ControlHub app in the lower left section of your Slack client, under the Recent Apps category

If you cannot find it there, click on the Apps tab on the left menu first:

It should show up there under the apps installed by your company in your Slack workspace:

All requests that involve spending budget (outside of hiring employees or payroll related expenses) can be requested and approved on ControlHub. This includes:

  • Products from online vendors (i.e. Amazon) or traditional vendors that already invoice you
  • Services: Online Services (i.e. SaaS), traditional vendors that invoice
  • Contractors & Consultants
  • Off-site expenses (i.e. dinners or travel) or physical purchases that will require a plastic card (supported only in the ‘Full P2P’ plan)

Yes. When needing any type of 1099-Contractor service, use the option called “Vendor needs a PO”

If you have a Contract you will use with the 1099-contractor, please attach it when requested for a Quote or Supporting Document.

First, access the ControlHub App in Slack. If you cannot find it, read the other FAQ called “Accesing the app”

Then, click the green button that says and just follow the flow.

Your request are stored always in the Thread where you created them. You can find it by doing any of the following:

  1. On the ControlHub App, click on 
  2. 🔍 Search for a keyword from your Request in the Search bar on the top right of the Slack window
  3. Scroll up through the ControlHub App Messages history to see if you can find the thread of your request

Administrators

Yes. You can see your company’s Dashboard, Reports and other Analytics in your Admin Site.

*Please note this feature is only available for paid plans

You can access our Admin Tools and Admin Site by clicking on the   button in the ControlHub app in Slack.

Inside the Admin Tools window, you should be able to:

  •  do basic tasks such as adding Users and Admins 
  • To go to the Admin Site (click on the  button), where you can access your Dashboard, Reports and other advanced settings.
As an alternative, you can also access the Admin Site directly at https://admin.controlhub.com

Yes. In the Admin Site, go to the Reports section. 

There, you can filter reports based on multiple criteria, including Dates, Teams, Requester Names, Accounting categories, etc.

Once you have your customized report report ready, click on the Export button 

You should be able to download your data as an Excel file + other options (CSV, PDF and HTML). 

We hate passwords, therefore, we have built ControlHub without them. People forget them all the time, and they are not very secure

Instead, you can seamlessly and securely login to the Admin Site by using Slack’s Single Sign-on

*(Logging into Slack will depend on your company’s specific Slack login settings)
