Requesting an order through Amazon PunchOut when paired with ControlHub is as convenient as it can get. In this guide we will outline exactly how to use the new Amazon PunchOut integration to help speed up your purchase requisition process.

Steps:
1. Select the blue + NEW REQUEST button located at the top right of the screen
2. Assign a name to your purchase request
3. Select Amazon from your preferred vendor list (or add it if it’s the first time buying from them) and then click the “Go to Amazon” button
4. You will be redirected to the Amazon Business site so you can select the items you want to purchase as you normally would in a personal Amazon.com account
6. Here’s what is different. --Instead of going directly to the checkout, click into the yellow button that says “Submit these items for approval”
7. With the previous action, all your items will be automatically imported to ControlHub so you can continue with the last steps of the purchase requisition process
8. As the last step, you will assign the purchase request to its expense account, location, budget and/or any custom fields you would like to add. Thanks to the ControlHub’s budget tracking feature, you’ll be able to quickly verify in real-time if the purchase requisition is within budget or not
9. Make any final changes to your Request and click Submit when complete
Your items have been successfully attached to the requisition form. This form, along with any other additional information, have also been sent to the qualified person to approve the given purchase. As soon as your Amazon PunchOut items are approved, a Purchase Order will be automatically created on ControlHub, and your items will be purchased and shipped from Amazon without any further effort on your part.
